CBS 21: Frost Advisory Issued As Temperatures Dip

FALL CHILL:

It will continue to be much cooler the rest of the week with sunny skies and highs both today and tomorrow in the mid 60s.

FROST ADVISORY TONIGHT:

It's that time of year to protect the plants and pets. Low temperatures tonight will drop into the mid 30s, leading to some areas of patchy frost!

WATCHING THE WEEKEND:

An area of low pressure will develop this weekend off the North Carolina coast and lift north. This system will have the potential to bring more rain to the region from Saturday through Monday. Clouds will be on the increase on Saturday with some scattered showers. Sunday will also bring clouds and some pockets of steadier rain. Expect the clouds and showers to linger into at least the first half of the day on Monday. While this will put a damper on outdoor plans, it is rain that we do need in the region after very dry conditions from late Summer through early Fall.

CBS 21 FIRST WARNING WEATHER FORECAST:

Today: Mostly Sunny: High 64

Tonight: Mainly Clear, Areas of Patchy Frost: Low 36

Tomorrow: Mostly Sunny: High 66

Saturday: Mostly Cloudy, Scattered Showers: High 68

Sunday: Mostly Cloudy, Scattered Showers: High 64
